About me
I'm Nikki Tehara, an insurance broker with InsureBC Squamish. My licence, as a Level 2 General Insurance Agent and ICBC Autoplan broker, is in my legal name, Parambir Tehara.
I arrange home, condo, business, construction, marine and ICBC insurance for clients across BC. You deal with me directly, not a call centre.
InsureBC gives me access to several insurers, so one conversation lets me compare more than one company. Most of my work happens by phone, email and e-signature.
How I work
I would rather tell you that you don't need something than sell it to you. I would rather ask an awkward question now than have it come up at a claim.
If a risk is not a good fit for the insurers I work with, I will say so and point you somewhere that can help.
ICBC Autoplan renewals can be done by phone. New plates and buying or selling a vehicle are done in person at a broker office.
My licence
A Level 2 licence lets me handle your file from start to finish. Both InsureBC and I are licensed by, and answerable to, the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
