ICBC Autoplan
For drivers and fleets anywhere in BC. ICBC sets Basic rates, so my job is getting your transaction and optional coverage right. Autoplan is completed with me, not on this website.
What I look at for you
- Renewals by phone: I can do your renewal over the phone, wherever you live in BC.
- In person: new plates and buying or selling a vehicle are done at a broker office.
- Optional coverage: collision, comprehensive, extended liability and loss of use are where the real choices are.
- Deductibles: set to what you could comfortably pay after a claim.
- Accurate details: the principal driver, use and kilometres must be right, or a claim can run into trouble.
- Fleets: several vehicles or a business fleet, set up in one conversation.
Before you call
For a renewal by phone, keep your current papers nearby. For new plates or a purchase, bring these to the broker office.
- Your current Autoplan papers or plate number
- Your driver's licence
- The vehicle's year, make and model, or the bill of sale
- The odometer reading
- Any tickets or claims in recent years
Questions people ask me
Why use a broker if Basic rates are the same everywhere?
No broker can discount Basic. What changes is whether the policy is set up correctly and whether the optional coverage fits how you drive. Deductibles and extra liability are real decisions, and that's where I help.
Can I renew without coming in?
Yes. I can do renewals with you over the phone, and ICBC also offers online renewal for eligible policies.
I'm buying a car. What should I do?
Call or email me before you pick it up. Have the bill of sale, your licence and the vehicle details ready. The purchase itself has to be done in person at a broker office.
Send me your vehicle details and I'll get your renewal or new coverage set up properly. If your plates expire soon, call me.
